I am a family photographer operating in Jyväskylä and the Central Finland region, with a core focus on family photography. I see family sessions more as storytelling than simple portraiture — my goal is to capture genuine moments, children’s joy and the small everyday happenings exactly as they occur. My working style is calm and flexible. I approach families and children gently: we talk, play and wait for the right moment instead of forcing posed shots. Often the best photos are taken when a child can be themselves and the interaction between adults appears naturally. This documentary, in-the-moment style can be combined with soft, considered portraits when needed, giving you both atmosphere and classic family images. I photograph both outdoors and at home — a place where the family feels safe brings true warmth to the pictures. I have photographed many children and newborns, and my work is built on patience and experience working with little ones. Countless small expressions and moments together form a family’s unique story, and I aim to help preserve that story in images. My process begins with a conversation: we go through your wishes, suitable locations and a schedule that fits your family life. On the shoot day I strive to create a relaxed, playful atmosphere — practical and unhurried. During editing I carefully select and retouch the images so colours and mood are conveyed naturally.
