Kukkia Photography (Niina Järvinen) specializes in family photography and offers warm, natural and timeless family portraits in the Janakkala area. For me, family photography is about recording a story: from small childhood moments and the everyday beauty of parenthood to the shared celebrations that become images you’ll want to revisit for years to come. My work combines a visual eye with years of experience with children — I am trained as a social services professional and have worked extensively in early childhood education, which makes interacting with children calm and natural. I love natural light and often choose locations where light and surroundings support the mood. In winter or indoors I use studio lighting to ensure a beautiful, polished result. My style is soft, warm-toned and focused on authentic moments. I aim to keep the shooting relaxed and unhurried: especially with children we always work at the child’s pace, take breaks when needed and make sure the family enjoys the session itself as a pleasant memory. Often the best photos come from spontaneous interaction and play rather than staged moments. I offer family photography across different life stages: maternity and pregnancy photos, newborn and child growth sessions, and special-occasion portraits such as christening and confirmation photos. I can come to your home, photograph at a location you choose, or help you find the perfect spot. Sessions are commonly around one hour to suit children’s stamina, but we always tailor timing to your family’s needs.
