I’m Saana Kehus, a family photographer based in the Kemi area — a mother, photographer and approachable professional whose passion is capturing genuine family moments. In my family photography I focus on creating relaxed and safe sessions where both little ones and grown-ups can be themselves. My style is simple and timeless, with people, emotions and authentic moments at the center of each image. I prefer to work in natural light and seek locations that convey a soft, warm atmosphere. In my home studio in Peurasaaari I work in a bright, minimal setting without excessive props so your family’s personality can shine. For lifestyle and outdoor sessions I use beautiful nearby locations — a natural environment often helps everyone relax and produce spontaneous, true expressions. My specialties include family, child, maternity and newborn photography. With newborns I work calmly and at the baby’s pace to ensure each moment is captured safely and beautifully. In maternity sessions I aim for a soft, timeless aesthetic that highlights the expectant parent’s natural glow. When photographing children I combine gentle direction with playfulness to achieve natural expressions and movement that reflect each child’s personality. The photography process I offer is designed around a smooth client experience: I welcome your wishes beforehand, provide tips on clothing and location choice, and gently guide subjects during the shoot. I deliver images primarily in digital format and can assist with professional printing if needed. Although my focus is family photography, I also photograph family events such as christenings and other intimate celebrations.
