I’m Netta Karjalainen, a Rovaniemi-based family photographer whose passion is to record everyday and celebratory moments with feeling and genuine connection. I fell for photography over ten years ago and completed my professional training at Tornion oppia in 2021. That blend of experience and fresh perspective informs my work. In my family photography I focus on what matters most: the bond between you, the naturalness of children, and the little gestures you keep coming back to. My images are defined by warm, natural light, a relaxed atmosphere, and an emphasis on emotion rather than rigid posing. Depending on what fits your family best, I work outdoors in natural settings or in the calm of my home studio. I also have special expertise in newborn and baby photography: a calm tempo, gentle guidance, and safe handling help both parents and little ones feel comfortable and secure. The photography process is personal: before our session we go through your wishes together and plan the location, outfits, and mood.
