I’m Salla Klemettilä and Bella Photo specializes in family photography in Siilinjärvi and the surrounding area. For me, family photography is more than beautiful images: it is a way to pause the small but important moments of everyday life — closeness, laughter and the quiet looks that tell a family’s story. I work with warmth and calm, creating a safe setting where both children and adults can be their true selves. My special expertise is built on years of working with children and families: I previously worked in early childhood education and have completed qualifications as a photo artisan and professional photographer. This combination of practical child-care experience and formal photographic training shows in how I guide little subjects, understand the rhythms of newborns and toddlers, and find the tender moments that become timeless family photographs. Sessions take place in my atmospheric studio on Sepänkatu near Väinölänniemi — the lovely parks and the shores of Kallavesi also allow for outdoor location shoots when the weather permits. If you prefer, I can also come to your home, which is especially suitable for newborn sessions and families who want photos that reflect their everyday life. My working style is calm and playful: I allow time for getting acquainted, take breaks as needed, and direct interactions so that images arise from action and authenticity. Humor and silliness are part of the sessions — often the best expressions come when the family can be together without stiff directions. Although family photography is my main focus, I also offer child and newborn sessions as well as portrait photography for special occasions. During the planning stage we agree together on the location and style, and I deliver the finished images carefully edited in a gallery from which you can choose your favourites.
