I’m Mari Lepistö, a family photographer serving Hollola and the Lahti area. Family photography is close to my heart: I love capturing small everyday joys, children’s funny faces and the warmth of togetherness. My work focuses on creating a relaxed, present atmosphere — I believe the best images come when you feel safe and free to be yourselves. My photographic style is natural and location‑based. I don’t work from a studio; instead I make use of the parks, shores and familiar backyards around Lahti so that children and parents can be themselves in comfortable, recognizable places. I guide gently but avoid stiff posing: I let moments unfold, catch genuine laughter and small interactions that turn images into real memories. I specialise in family photography, newborn and baby sessions, and child and 1st‑birthday portraits. I understand that a small child or toddler needs time and a sense of security — that’s why every session is shaped around the child’s pace. Whether it’s maternity, a six‑month session, or a full family shoot, your energy and wishes always come first. How we work together: first, you get in touch and tell me about your wishes — I’ll send a short questionnaire in advance and we’ll plan the location and schedule together. On the day of the shoot I aim to create a calm, playful moment where there’s room simply to be present. After the session you’ll receive a selection gallery to choose your favourites; I then carefully retouch and finalise the images before delivery. My goal is that the gallery feels like you — images you’ll love returning to for years. As a photographer I’m empathetic, patient and experienced with children and families — my own experience as a mother also informs the way I guide and soothe during sessions. I’m happy to work across Hollola and the surrounding Lahti area and I can help you choose the best location for your shoot.
