I’m Dilan Rauhala, and at Dilan Visuals I create family photography rooted in genuine emotion — not stiff posing, but the moments when you truly feel like yourselves. I work in Hervanta and throughout Tampere, and my studio is located in Vuores. As a family photographer I see myself primarily as a storyteller: I want your images to reflect your chemistry, the everyday warmth, and the small gestures you’ll want to remember. Why choose me? My work is based on presence and calm familiarity. During sessions I avoid over-directing — I make space for spontaneity and a child-paced approach. Clients often tell me that children relax quickly and that the photos genuinely look like them. It’s important to me that parents also receive beautiful portraits with their children: I aim to show you as loving, natural, and strong. How do I work? Before the shoot we’ll talk through your wishes and choose the best location together: my Vuores studio, your home, or a natural setting on the outskirts of Tampere. During sessions I focus on creating a safe, relaxed atmosphere — I join in the play, encourage silliness, and capture the little touches that make photos touching. The best moments often happen between posed shots; that’s why my approach is gentle and documentary-led, while I can provide direction when needed so you feel beautiful and comfortable. Services I offer include family photography, baby and newborn sessions, children's portraits, and event photography for occasions like christenings and birthday celebrations.
