I'm Tanja, the family photographer behind Veronikavisuals, based in Kangasala. My greatest passion is family stories: I want to capture those moments that feel most precious in everyday life. For me, family photography is more than posed shots — it's a way to freeze feelings, closeness and small details you’ll want to return to years from now. My specialities are family photography, maternity photography and newborn photography. My style is sensitive, atmospheric and natural; I aim for a documentary approach that lets moments unfold at their own pace. I want the session to feel relaxed and warm — clients often tell me that any initial nerves quickly disappear and a genuine, joyful atmosphere emerges where children can simply be children and all emotions are welcome. My working method is based on presence and calm. For newborn sessions I prefer the comfort of your own home, which brings warmth and authenticity to the start of your new everyday life. I photograph pregnancy sensitively and respectfully: I want to capture the expectation and the feeling of a new beginning, just as it means to you. For family sessions I look for environments that support your story — I love including forests, meadows and familiar home views in the images, but the most important thing is the connection between you. As a photographer I am enthusiastic yet calm — a combination that especially helps with children and sensitive moments. Listening is at the core of my work: we plan the approach and mood together, while I also leave room for spontaneity.
