I’m Joni Pystö, a family photographer based in Tampere — I’ve photographed people and families for about 20 years. Family photography is more than a job to me: it’s a way to help families stop time and turn small, fleeting moments into beautiful, lasting memories. My special expertise focuses on child and family photography, including newborn and baby sessions, christening portraits, as well as birthday and remembrance occasions. My working style is calm and warm. I understand that a photoshoot can make both children and adults nervous, so I aim to create a safe, relaxed atmosphere — often at your home or nearby, where even the smallest children feel comfortable and natural expressions and emotions can come through. I bring a light backdrop and necessary equipment with me, so the session can be carried out smoothly wherever suits you best. My photography process is clear and flexible: we plan the location and style together, schedule around your family’s needs, and I focus on making sure everyone gets beautiful, flattering images. After the shoot, the selected images are carefully edited to preserve the mood and authenticity of the moment. You can receive your photos digitally or, if you prefer, as physical photo products — my goal is for you to get the memories exactly as you want them. I work primarily in Tampere and the Pirkanmaa region, and I’m happy to accept assignments from a wider area by agreement.
