I’m Margarita Vedru, a family photographer based in Pori. At the heart of my work is a desire to capture everyday and celebratory moments as they truly are — the laughter, the hugs and the small gestures that together tell your family’s story. As a mother of two boys, I understand how quickly children grow and how precious it is to preserve those memories as beautiful photographs. I specialize in family photography and approach each session individually. My studio offers two distinct styles: a bright white classic and a soft boho-beige, helping us find the tones that best suit your family. I aim to make the session relaxed and even fun — I give clear but gentle direction, encourage play and let children be themselves. My goal is that even those who feel shy in front of the camera will relax and show genuine expressions. How does a session work? First, I listen to your wishes: what kind of images you want, your home style and which moments matter most to you. On the day of the shoot I take care of all practical details — my studio has a wide range of props, loan outfits from newborn to mum, and a comfortable waiting area for parents. Sessions are paced to your family’s rhythm; I allow time for little ones to settle and play so we can capture natural, touching moments. As a photographer I strive to create images that are timeless and fit your home’s interior so they remain meaningful for decades. Clients have also called me a “baby whisperer” — I have the experience and sensitivity to work with newborns and small children, which is especially valuable when photographing families with very young babies.
