I’m Julia Lillqvist, a family photographer based in Turku who approaches family photography with genuine presence and a storytelling mindset. My specialty is documentary-style family photography with a fine art touch: I aim to capture the moments you might not always notice later — the glances, the laughs, the small routines and natural closeness. My working style is warm and calm. I join your everyday life like a playful companion: I want the session to feel more like play than performance. When the atmosphere is safe and relaxed, authentic expressions and movements naturally emerge, telling your family’s story more honestly than posed images. When photographing children, I let them play and move while I observe and record the best moments — responding quickly with sensitivity and a careful eye. I offer family photography, baby and newborn sessions, children’s photography, christening photography and other family celebrations. My photographic style favors natural light, warm tones and an authentic atmosphere.
