Hello — I’m Maksim Didyk, a family photographer working in Kirkkonummi. Family photography is more than a job to me: it’s a way to capture the authenticity and emotion of everyday and celebratory moments. I’m originally from Ukraine, and moving to Finland deepened my connection to nature, families and the simple moments of happiness — something you’ll see reflected in my images. My speciality is family photography: I photograph newborns, children, families and christenings with a warm and calm approach. My method is natural and empathetic — I don’t stage emotions, but rather create conditions and an atmosphere where genuine moments can emerge. Often the best images are found in small gestures, glances and the quiet rhythms of everyday life, and my aim is to preserve those moments in photographs you’ll treasure for years. I enjoy working in nature, close to the peaceful surroundings of Kirkkonummi, but I’m also happy to shoot at your home or any location you choose. When photographing children and babies I focus on a playful and safe atmosphere: I give time, provide space, and allow situations to unfold naturally. During family sessions I’m practical and warm — I gently guide moments while leaving room for spontaneity. From the client’s perspective my work is personal and attentive. We’ll discuss your wishes and the mood you want in advance, and together we’ll choose the best location and approach for the session. In post-production I prioritise quality: colour tones, light and emotional authenticity are important to me, and I refine each image carefully to reflect the feeling of the moment.
