I’m Theresa, a family photographer based in Matinkylä (Espoo). I specialize in family photography, children’s photography and newborn photography. My priority is to capture genuine emotions and the small everyday moments that tell your family’s story — without excessive styling or artificial poses. My approach is documentary and gently calm: I seek to bring out connection, warmth and authentic atmosphere in each image. Why choose me as your family photographer? I work with a gentle, reassuring approach — less staged direction, more attention to the moment. We start with a short conversation to discuss location, timing and your wishes. The session itself unfolds at a relaxed pace — outdoors in natural light or in the familiar comfort of your home. I give soft guidance and encourage natural interaction; many of the best moments appear during play, a hug or an unexpected laugh. In post-processing I favor a restrained, timeless color palette that highlights feeling and connection without heavy-handed editing. What kind of family moments do I photograph? I offer family sessions, baby and newborn photography, as well as children’s and celebration coverage (for example, christenings) — always focusing on the family’s natural relationships and emotions. I always consider young children’s rhythms and parents’ wishes to make the experience as calm and comfortable as possible for everyone. At the heart of my work are presence, kindness and a genuine interest in people’s stories.
