I believe the best family photographs are born from genuine encounters — when the session feels calm and authentic. I am a family photographer based in Porvoo, and my specialties include family photography, children's sessions, newborn photography and christening photos. I work both in the studio and in natural, on-location settings depending on the atmosphere you prefer. Why choose me as your family photographer? I have long experience working with families, and I naturally enjoy working with people. My goal is to create images that feel like you — relaxed, honest and timeless. During the session I create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, allow children to be themselves, and look for moments where expressions and closeness will still speak to you years from now. Practically speaking, my working process is flexible: we agree in advance on the location and the mood, I offer practical tips on clothing and how to prepare, and I can advise on timing if needed. On the day of the shoot I focus on producing natural images without unnecessary hurry — often the best photos come from small flashes of interaction. In newborn photography I prioritise safety and a calm pace; the studio also offers carefully planned lighting when a controlled look is desired. Selecting and receiving your photos is made easy: I provide a preselection gallery where you can choose your favourites. If you prefer, you can choose the "Our Story" option in which the photographer compiles a balanced series of images for you. Final photos are delivered retouched as high-resolution files, both in colour and black-and-white — ready for prints or online use. I mainly operate around the Porvoo area, but I can also arrange agreed on-location shoots in a wider region.
